Preschool/Kindergarten Prep

Approximate Age: 2 to 6 years old

In the Preschool/Kindergarten Prep Group, most children attend CLC as their primary school, and the CLC conductor-teachers are licensed special education teachers in the State of Michigan. The curriculum of a typical preschool/kindergarten is covered while also transforming student motor learning, social/emotional development, and self-care skills. Improving problem solving and participation skills are emphasized in this group. Sessions are thematically planned with an opportunity for all children to engage in developmentally appropriate play activities. Developing creativity and participation skills are emphasized in this group. This program runs all nine sessions throughout the school year, for three or five hours per day, with full-time and follow-up participation options available. If group participation is three or more days a week, the price will be prorated from the full-time price. If it is less than three days a week, the three-hour MI daily resident rate is $81, and the non-resident rate is $115. The five-hour MI daily resident rate is $135, and the non-resident rate is $190.
