Rector Merkely’s National Conductive Education Day 2020 Celebratory Letter
It’s the start of an exciting week here at the Conductive Learning Center of North America. We are eagerly anticipating National Conductive Education Day 2020 which falls on Thursday, February 20th this year. As we’ve been preparing for this week, we were thrilled to receive this special letter recognizing Conductive Learning Center of North America from Prof. Béla Merkely MD, PhD, DSc – Rector of Semmelweis University.
Semmelweis University, the oldest medical university in Hungary, is celebrating its 250th year. In 2017, it became home to what was formerly known as the International Pető Institute – birthplace of conductive education. We continue to be grateful for our partnership with this model institution. This collaboration, which began in 1999, has not only instilled strong roots within our program, but has also allowed Conductive Learning Center of North America to continue to flourish. Our commitment to providing conductive education programming that is true to the traditional model has helped us to become stronger every day as an organization.
We hope you enjoy reading Rector Merkely’s celebratory letter below, and we are looking forward to seeing you at our community celebration at the school on Friday, February 21st at 1:00 pm.
