A Gift of the Heart:  Generous Friend of CLC Doubles the Impact of Each Gift this Holiday Season

Meet Auggie.  Auggie, one of our students in our early childhood group, is like many preschoolers.  He loves books, playing with his friends and any song with a good beat.  But Auggie has cerebral palsy which makes many everyday activities harder for him.  Harder, but with the right instruction and guidance – not impossible.  Auggie and so many of our students like him, need your help today to reach their next big goal – Kindergarten.

Thanks to our generous supporters, Auggie has begun to see life-changing improvements in the few short months that he’s been enrolled in our conductive education program.  When he began at CLC last spring, he couldn’t use his body to play, sit, crawl or do any physical activity without assistance. He was fed completely from a feeding tube because he lacked the muscle control needed to eat or drink using his mouth.  Today, he’s learning to walk with a walker.  He’s feeding himself table food independently.  He is thriving.

But we know Auggie’s transformation is not finished.  He has big goals to reach to be able to start Kindergarten with peers at his local school.  And your donation this year-end will help him, and many more like him, get there.

There has never been a better time to give to CLC.  Right now, your gift has double the impact.  A generous friend of CLC will match your donation – dollar for dollar – this holiday season!  Your support will give us the tools needed to complete renovations and fully equip the classrooms in our new school building and hire additional conductive education teachers to deliver these critical programs.  We have never had an opportunity like this before and it is important to us that you are a part of it!

This matching gift challenge won’t last long.  Please click here to give today and have your gift matched dollar for dollar up to $75,000!  Only with your help can we maximize this amazing opportunity to ensure Auggie and many more like him have the teachers and fully equipped classrooms to learn skills that open the door to their future.
