April 2, 2018 in Team CLC River Bank Run Painting for a Cause We had two awesome painting party fundraisers at the end of April to benefit our Team CLC efforts! A huge thank you to Janet Harrold for coordinating and teaching the event, donating her supplies, and donating all proceeds to our Champion a Child Scholarship Fund. Over $800 was raised through two separate painting nights. “Painting for a Cause” was a night out for adults, and the “Kids’ Open Studio” provided CLC students, siblings, and friends an opportunity to have fun and create a special abstract work of art. Also, a special thanks to Derby Station for providing event space, and to all our families and staff that were able to support us and join in the fun.
