Team CLC Get Started Toolkit : Team members this is your “go to” instruction manual for getting started with your fundraising for your Team CLC Fifth Third Participation!
We have scheduled future “Team CLC” workshops for the following days and times:
Monday, Feb. 6, at 9 am. and again at 5:30 pm
Wednesday, March 14 at 9 am and again at 5:30 pm
Thursday, April 19 at 9 am and again at 5:30 pm
These workshops are to get you started with your active.com site and training as well as other information. If none of these times work, let us know and we can schedule an individual time with you at your convenience. Once people have their Active.com site up they will see how easy it is to solicit pledges for their walk or their run and to recruit others to join their team. If you can not make the run on May 12, you can still solicit “Team” pledges through active.com.
On May 12, 2012, Team CLC will be participating as a Charity Partner in the 35 th Anniversary of the Fifth Third River Bank Run. Please consider using your athletic ability to benefit the children of the Conductive Learning Center (CLC). CLC is honored to be participating this year for the first time as a recognized Charity Partner in this nationally renowned event. Art Van has made a lead gift to Team CLC as a challenge to others to increase their giving to the mission of CLC. We are asking for your help and to follow Art Van’s lead and help CLC achieve our fundraising goals. Click on this link and check out our video!
We hope all friends and families of the Conductive Learning Center will be a part of Team CLC – whether or not you are in Michigan, or are in other states near and far!!! Please help to extend our fundraising efforts by becoming a Team Captain by organizing your family, friends and coworkers, throughout the country, to join in supporting our cause by participating in the 25K run, 10K run, 5K run or 5K walk. All pledges collected will directly support CLC students. Send us your name and contact information by email to: info@conductivelearningcenter.org. We will contact you with additional information about becoming a Team CLC member. Exclusive Team CLC events and trainings are planned – stay tuned for details!
TOOLKIT
To sign up for Team CLC:
1. Send your name and contact information to info@conductivelearningcenter.org
2. Register for the race on the Fifth Third River Bank Runwebsite. Indicate “Conductive Learning Center” as the charity you would like to create a personal fundraising page for and as the charity you would like to raise money for.
3. Go to Team CLC’s Active.com Page to create your own fundraising page. This is the easiest way to collect pledges for your run/walk. Once you get to the page, select “Become a Fundraiser” and then one of the following: “Fundraise as an Individual”, “Create a Fundraising Team”, or “Join a Fundraising Team”.
4. Obtain sponsor pledges for your run/walk by sending out emails from your own active.com page or by using these tools:
