Team CLC – Fifth Third River Bank Run Charity Partner

Team CLC – Fifth Third River Bank Run Charity Partner

For the first time ever, CLC was selected to be a Charity Partner for the 2012 Fifth Third River Bank Run. Over 110 individuals were part of Team CLC, a group who ran and walked in the River Bank Run events while collecting pledges to support the mission of CLC. These amazing individuals raised almost $50,000 – this represents over 1,500 hours of scholarship programming that can be made available to children with motor disorders!

Members of Team CLC were rewarded with fun prizes and incentives including gear bags, running socks, lanyards, T-shirts, performance fabric shirts and access to a private, indoor hospitality room before the race. A number of special events including a Race Day Preparation and Nutrition Clinic, a Training Clinic and Run, and a Pre-Race Dinner and Team Celebration were also part of the fun.

Conductive Learning Center has been elevated to a Tier 1 Charity Partner for 2013. Team CLC will be out in full force for the Fifth Third River Bank Run on May 11, 2013. Team captains, runners, walkers, volunteers and coordinators are needed. Joining Team CLC is a great way to jump start your new year’s resolution to become healthier and more fit while making a difference in the lives of others! Beginners and experienced runners and walkers are welcome for the 5K, 10K or 25K races and the 5K Community Walk.
