Directors’ Column

Looking back this year, we count the blessings that the wonderful children and families that are CLC, bring to our mission. We thank our donors and supporters for their zeal, making it possible for us to bring greater independence to children with motor disorders. We are frequently reminded that we are a resourceful community, striving to meet the diverse needs of those around us.

CLC is excited to announce that recently obtained grant funding will now enable local children with qualifying motor disorders to experience the benefits of Conductive Education at no cost for the initial session. Most families find that the Conductive Education methodology has a transformative effect on a child’s confidence and independence. Help us get the word out about this wonderful opportunity to experience Conductive Education to families with babies and children that are experiencing motor delays. Application to the program can be made online.

It takes a lot of hard work and dedication by a fabulous program staff to carry out the mission and goals of Conductive Learning Center. This CLC staff has finely honed expertise and skills for empowering and enabling children to do a little bit more for themselves every day. Thank you to the CLC staff for coming together, working hard, and making this a banner year for Conductive Learning Center.

We are very excited about the CLC Program Video that was produced this year. This video was a part of the new marketing and identity project that will assist the agency in promoting the program in the community. Please take a moment to review and share the video (posted above) and browse the articles contained in this newsletter to learn more about Conductive Learning Center.
